Guidelines for Case Submission

Extranodal Lymphomas

  • Extranodal lymphomas with unusual phenotypes and/or unusual clinical presentations. including bone and soft tissue, breast, female genital tract, testis, central nervous system, and space-associated lymphomas, excluding typical MALT lymphomas.
  • Extranodal lymphomas with T-cell or NK-cell phenotypes.
  • Extranodal lymphomas associated with infectious agents such as HTLV1, KSHV/HHV8, EBV and/or immune deficiency and dysregulation, excluding post-transplant B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders.

Cutaneous Lymphomas

  • Cutaneous lymphoproliferative disorders and lymphomas with unusual phenotypes and/or unusual clinical presentations and/or mimics of lymphomas.
  • Cutaneous lymphomas associated with infectious agents such as HTLV1, KSHV/HHV8, EBV, other and/or immune deficiency and dysregulation.

CASE GUIDELINES

Please read the following guidelines carefully before you prepare your case submission.

  1. All case submissions are digital only; no physical slides or paraffin blocks will be required.
  2. Practicing pathologists, dermatologists, and trainees (residents and fellows) are welcome to submit cases.
  3. Cases must be submitted in English.
  4. Please choose a case topic: extranodal lymphomas or cutaneous lymphomas.
  5. Each case submission must contain the following two documents:
    • Case write-up: please use this form.
    • PowerPoint or PDF of your case presentation including all case images; or representative whole digital imagens (from scanned slides); if digital whole slide images are available, please upload them to the same case folder.
    • Please send an email to lymphomasinrio@sbp.org.br in order to receive the link to upload your files.
    • After sending the case write-up form and the initial contact using the email address above, a Google Drive link will be sent, and you will be able to upload all files to the folder with your name/institution.
  6. The deadline for submission is February 23rd, 2026.
