Lymphomas In Rio
SBP&SH Workshop 2026

On November 13–14, 2026, Rio de Janeiro will host a two-day international workshop, organized in partnership between the Brazilian Society of Pathology (SBP) and the Society for Hematopathology (SH).

The event will feature renowned specialists who will review and select cases submitted from different parts of the world, received through SBP, SH, partner organizations, and social networks.

The program includes workshop sessions, multidisciplinary case conferences, and special symposia, conducted by invited international speakers and leading discussants in the field.

Extranodal Lymphomas

  • Extranodal lymphomas with unusual phenotypes and/or unusual clinical presentations. including bone and soft tissue, breast, female genital tract, testis, central nervous system, and space-associated lymphomas, excluding typical MALT lymphomas.
  • Extranodal lymphomas with T-cell or NK-cell phenotypes.
  • Extranodal lymphomas associated with infectious agents such as HTLV1, KSHV/HHV8, EBV and/or immune deficiency and dysregulation, excluding post-transplant B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders.

Cutaneous Lymphomas

  • Cutaneous lymphoproliferative disorders and lymphomas with unusual phenotypes and/or unusual clinical presentations and/or mimics of lymphomas.
  • Cutaneous lymphomas associated with infectious agents such as HTLV1, KSHV/HHV8, EBV, other and/or immune deficiency and dysregulation.

Multidisciplinary Case Conference

  • A selected number of cases will be chosen in each workshop session to be presented during the multidisciplinary case conference.
  • Experts in Clinical Hematology, Oncology, and Dermatology will be invited as discussants.
  • Active participation and contributions from conference attendees will be highly encouraged.

New and Emerging Concepts in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Precision Medicine

Special symposia featuring invited international speakers highlighting innovative and evolving concepts in the diagnostic and therapeutic settings of extranodal and cutaneous lymphomas.
